Handwriting which we see as a basis for understanding how a human behaves can be taken a step
further to assess the mind, particularly in psychology. The real purpose of handwriting analysis is to
acquire and teach self-understanding. Graphology helps us to know the students, their behavior
problems analyzing by their handwriting sample. Because of technology we are getting away from our
children and they don’t want to talk about their problems openly, they want their own space specially

researcher. Data analysis is in descriptive form. Handwriting features analyzed and describe specific
quality. For this purpose, we got data from student`s handwriting sample which have been analyzed

letter 't' to analysis the personality of students.
The sample of each student analyzed to get the result, firstly each handwriting feature and their types
set individually to got the final result which showed maximum feature type used by all students’ girls

LITERATURE REVIEW OF GRAPHOLOGY
In the seventeenth century, it was for the first time that researchers show their interest in studying the handwriting. For this paper, a lot of paper and a past study on graphology has been taken into
consideration.
To find different features like margin, slant, etc. Some literature was surveyed for the study of what
different personality traits were inferred by all of these features like that of Introvert, Extrovert, Social,
Egoistic, Selfless and many more proposed an offline, handwriting analysis tool called “HABIT”
which stands for Handwriting analysis Based Individualistic Traits Prediction which is used to detect the
personality characteristics of writer from the given scanned image of a writer`s handwriting sample.
A rule base system whose input parameters are the baseline, height of the t-bar, and shape of the loop of
letter 'y'. This system predicts the Personality Traits from these features. The baseline was found using
methods, the position of 't' bar and slant of writing and other features like baseline, slant, size, margin
etc. from handwritten document image for personality. (Dartmouth,1943) proposed a neural network
system to know the psyche of the person through handwriting sample of the writer. Educational
psychology review contemporary handwriting research has focused on skilled performance, the
developing capabilities of children, a typical development, the effectiveness of various letter forms.
Critically reviews and synthesizes research conducted between (1980) and (1994) in each of these
areas, providing suggestions for future research. Considerable progress was made during this time
period in understanding the processes involved in handwriting control and development as well as in
teaching students with handwriting difficulties.

Research Method
In this project Qualitative and Quantitative both methodologies were used. Handwriting samples were
taken by students by visiting different schools. The samples were analyzed and checked personality
traits of all students.
Population of study
All students of Elementary level schools public and private were included in this report of Rawalpindi
District. There are approximately 800 private and public school in Rawalpindi.
Sample and Data

were included in the sample due to non-availability of students in public schools during Covid-19. The
samples of handwriting taken from 155 students from different schools. The data was collected from
Private sector. The data was collected from 77 boys and 78 girls. This research restricted the sample at
least of two grades which were 7th and 8th grade, students between the age of 12-14 years.
Adopted Instruments
This Research was based on qualitative and quantitative design analyzed by the researcher
with the help of given tools E.g., pen/pencil/paper/ruler written sample.
The analysis charts distributed within the students to collect data. The researcher analysis the
handwriting sample to see 9 features of handwriting to analyze baseline, size, slant, pen pressure, zone,
spacing, margin, letter 'i' and letter 't'. Each Handwriting feature shows 3,4 and 5 options/types of
different Personality Traits.
We need handwriting sample written on paper by pen or pencil etc. in order to take
test we need the handwriting of both girls and boys. We need hand writing sample which included all
alphabets so to check and do complete analysis. So, Graphologist Mike, M. suggested a sentence which

Teaching handwriting should be leant by all teachers of all grades in our educational systems. Many handwriting analyst proposed best personality traits handwriting which will help the students, teachers and all writers.
Many countries have adopted specific kinds of writing to help children overcome difficulties in beginning days of learning. Handwriting predicts and explain problem in the personality of any person by handwriting sample. In fact handwriting analysts are fortunate that they can see negative and positive aspects before its to late.
In countries using an alphabetical language, used simplified form is called (variously script, print script, or manuscript writing). Most children were expected to have similarity in handwriting by the age of eight or nine. In the United States, children then progressed from simplified to cursive (connected letter forms) writing, Although 21st century led to decline in cursive writing instruction. The handwriting scripts commonly taught to British children, after the initial experience with manuscript writing.
Teachers emphasize correct formation of letter writing in schools, uniform letters, spacing words and sentences, and speed of writing. Instruction begins with drawing or tracing. Great focused paid to proper body and paper position, less force to proper arm movements. Many devices are made and used in teaching handwriting eg. copying from letter, drills in drawing lines or circles, tracing of letter with pen or pencil. The various handwriting features can be analyzed in a given handwriting sample and they can tell a lot about the writer’s personality if they are observed carefully.
